Elizabeth Moran (b. 1984) lives and works in San Francisco as a photographer and graphic designer. In 2007, she received her BFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in the Department of Photography + Imaging in New York after studying photography at the Maine Media Workshops in Rockport. Elizabeth is currently working towards her MFA in photography and her MA in visual and critical studies at California College of the Arts in San Francisco.
Elizabeth has exhibited her photographs since 2001, including exhibitions at the Gulf + Western Gallery in New York, Humble Art’s Foundation’s Group Show, and the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston. She received the Tisch Photography + Imaging Leadership Award and was named the Tisch Shield Banner Bearer of 2007. She received the CDMiConnect Grace Award in 2009, and the California College of the Arts Graduate Merit Scholarship in 2011.
After studying with Yolanda Cuomo Design in 2007, Elizabeth began designing for both print and interactive media. She spent 4 years as an Art Director at CDMiConnect in New York, and is now a freelance art director and graphic designer.
Elizabeth has also taught photography at the International Center of Photography, the New England School of Photography, and NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in the Department of Photography + Imaging.
